Golden Pippin Tasting Notes

“Pippin” was created in 2003 when blonde beers were being introduced by brewers to give drinkers an alternative to bland mass produced lager. The brew became an instant success with real ale connoisseurs and despite attempts by other brewers to copy, it has never been matched or mastered. We use only the finest heritage British Malt and choicest Cascade and Centennial hops to produce a refreshing, full bodied, citrus flavoured, aromatic balanced, classic blonde ale.

Best Bitter Tasting Notes

Yorkshire Bitters are well respected in the brewing industry and with ale drinkers alike as being classic examples of the brewer’s art. At Copper Dragon our
brewers have over 70 years experience and every year has been utilised to produce what we consider to be another example of Yorkshire’s finest. For a classic British beer we use classic British hops – Challenger for that crisp, clean bitterness and Northdown to achieve a subtle aroma. Scotts 1816 Tasting Notes

This premium beer was formulated to commemorate the founding of Christopher Scott’s original Skipton Brewery. Using top quality British malts as the base the
next stage was to choose the best hops for this quality product. Our choice – Slovenian Styrian Goldings which impart a citrus, fruity, hoppy flavour and aroma. A commemorative beer that has since become a firm favourite with premium ale aficionados.

The very best flavours of a German styled lager beer but without the gassy feeling. Hersbruker and Saaz hops combined with finest Pilsner malts provide the basis for a quality continental beer. So yes lager in a cask – ‘the best of both worlds’!!!!
